Saqib is 47 and has lived in Brent since birth. Since becoming a councillor in 2018 he has been working hard to represent the concerns in his neighbourhood ever since.

Saqib will work with residents on ALL of the issues raised, acting as an advocate for the planting of new tree’s, green spaces and pavements and empowering residents to beautify their local areas patch by patch.

Saqib will stand up for residents’ concerns to make sure Kingsbury is a safe and welcoming place where no one is left behind; working with partner agencies to ensure this becomes a reality.

Saqib is able to work with people from all faiths and none, representing Brent’s diverse communities as their voice within the council and beyond.
