Gwen Grahl works as a veterinary surgeon for the RSPCA and is also a Unite the Union representative. A hardworking local activist and campaigner, she currently represents the neighbouring ward of Brondesbury Park, having won the council by-election there in 2021 with a strong majority.
Since her election, Gwen has worked closely with residents to tackle local housing issues, helped secure improvements to cycle hangar provision across the ward, and led on a council motion opposing the use of “fire and rehire”. She is a consistent and visible community advocate who will always stand up for the most vulnerable in society, and will campaign for good quality council housing, social justice, and a cleaner, greener environment.
