Gwen Grahl works as a Veterinary Surgeon for the RSPCA and is also a trade union representative for Unite the Union. A hardworking local activist and campaigner, she currently represents the neighbouring ward of Brondesbury Park, having won a council by-election there in 2021 with a large majority. Since then she has worked closely with local residents to resolve housing issues, successfully improved the provision of cycle hangars across the ward, and moved a council motion against the use of Fire and Rehire. Gwen will always fight for the most vulnerable people in society and will campaign for good quality council housing, social justice and a cleaner and greener environment.
