Angela Joyce de Souza

Angela Joyce de Souza is a passionate community advocate and Labour’s candidate for Wembley Hill. With a background in law from India and strong experience in local community work, she is committed to listening to residents, amplifying their voices, and delivering practical change on the issues that matter most.

Angela serves as a Governor at Central and North West London NHS Foundation Trust and is an elected School Governor at Elsley Primary School in Wembley. These roles have strengthened her understanding of public services and deepened her commitment to community wellbeing, particularly in health, education and support for families.

She also organises local community events in Wembley that bring people together, build connections and celebrate the area’s diversity. As Women’s Officer in the Labour Party, Angela is passionate about promoting equality and supporting women to play a full role in community and public life.

Angela wants Wembley Hill to be a ward where everyone feels included and has the opportunity to thrive. If elected, she will work closely with residents and in partnership with local organisations, businesses and community groups to build a stronger, safer and more inclusive Wembley Hill for all.
