Fleur Donnelly-Jackson

Cllr Fleur Donnelly-Jackson has lived in Brent since 2005. She was elected as a councillor for Willesden Green in 2018 and, following boundary changes, was elected for Roundwood in 2022.

As Cabinet Lead for Housing, Fleur has championed renters’ rights and worked to raise standards across all housing tenures in the borough. She oversaw the establishment of the Housing Improvement Advisory Board and has maintained a strong on-the-ground presence, regularly attending estate walkabouts, Brent Housing’s Summer Roadshow events, and forums for renters, tenants and leaseholders, as well as meetings with Registered Providers. Having grown up in council housing and experienced the pressures of “Generation Rent”, she is a committed advocate for more genuinely affordable housing and fairer, safer conditions for residents.

Fleur has over a decade of experience working across the public sector and charities, specialising in access advice and disability inclusion consultancy. She also worked for the Labour Party as Diversity and Inclusion and Staff Training Manager before completing her legal training. Alongside her council role, she works as an advocate on housing cases.

She has chaired several access networks and is a Trustee of the arts charity Action Space, which supports artists with learning disabilities. Fleur has also held senior roles in the borough’s cultural life, including membership of the Mayor of London’s Liberty Festival Advisory Group and Cabinet responsibility for Culture and Brent’s libraries. She is a strong champion of the arts and culture sector, and is committed to environmental sustainability and social justice.
