Liz Dixon

Liz has worked as a probation officer for over 30 years across a range of settings, helping to prevent crime, support rehabilitation and protect the public. She is currently a Restorative Justice Manager and facilitator, working to reduce conflict and help address the harm caused by crime. Liz brings the values and skills of a lifelong public servant to her work as a local councillor.

Elected as a councillor in 2014, Liz has built a strong record of community-focused work in Dollis Hill, supporting residents with local concerns and championing improvements across the ward and the wider borough. She helped establish Friends of Gladstone Park alongside local residents and remains an active trustee. Liz has also supported and promoted key local organisations including Cricklewood Boxing Centre and Ashford Place Community Centre, and played an active role in the Dollis Hill Mutual Aid Group during the pandemic.

Within the council, Liz has served on the Fostering Panel for over five years, supporting foster carers in their vital work and helping to ensure children in care receive the stability and support they need. She is a passionate environmentalist who values Brent’s green spaces and works with others to promote parks, healthy lifestyles and a cleaner local environment. Liz also serves as Chief Whip of the Labour Group.
