Steve Crabb

Steve has lived in Queen’s Park since 1997 and was councillor for the ward from 1994 to 1998.

He is deeply involved in the local community, working with his residents association and Brent Council to ‘green’ the ward with new street trees and has fought to preserve accessible and affordable meeting spaces for local community groups at the former Corrib Rest public house. He is a regular speaker at the Queen’s Park Book Festival and has written a book on  the history of the area “Queen’s Park: A History”. In his professional life, Steve is a consultant, chair and writer who campaigns for better services for people in vulnerable circumstances. His achievements include creating national guidance for energy, water and telecoms companies in supporting customers living with dementia.
