Sandra was first elected a Queensbury Councillor in 2002. Her areas of interest and expertise are women’s rights & special education needs having spent many years working in the NGO sector campaigning for these causes. Sandra is Chair of Governors at The Village School and trustee of several voluntary organisations. She supports the work of the Brent Metropolitan Police as an independent adviser.   She is a member of UNITE Union. In Council Sandra serves as Vice-Chair of Brent CONNECTS – Kingsbury and Kenton, member of Audit and Standards Advisory Committee and representative on the Pensions Board.
