Omid Fadakar

Omid Fadakar is an experienced safety and security professional with over 23 years’ service. A university graduate, he began his career in the British Army, where he developed the discipline, teamwork and leadership skills that continue to shape his work.

Omid is committed to public safety and community engagement. Since 2022, he has served as Chair of the Queensbury Police Ward Panel, helping to strengthen collaboration between residents and the local police. He is also a member of the British Transport Police Independent Advisory Group for London and the South East, supporting work to build trust, accountability and confidence across the transport network.

Beyond his work in policing and security, Omid is active in promoting social cohesion and dialogue locally as a member of the Brent Multi-Faith Forum. He also contributes to wider policy discussions as part of the Fabian Society’s Security and Defence Committee.

Grounded in service and integrity, Omid is a strong advocate for a safer, stronger and more inclusive Queensbury, and is committed to working with residents and partners to deliver practical improvements for the community.
