Mili Patel

Mili was born, raised and educated in Brent. There is nowhere she would rather raise her young family.

As the Cabinet Member for Children and Young People, Mili oversaw the best Ofsted results in Brent’s history, with the inspectors’ report particularly praising political leadership in delivering these outcomes.

She worked tirelessly to find a way to save Roundwood Youth Centre, because she knew from her experiences as a local youth worker how important it is. The centre is now thriving with more youth events running that ever before.

As a ward councillor, Mili has been involved in many campaigns to benefit the wider area. She led the successful campaign to block Silvertime from opening yet another “high street casino” in Harlesden.
