Mary Mitchell has lived in Brent since 2009. She is on the OPDC panel and a founding member of Harlesden Mums Who Cycle. She works as a strategy consultant, focusing on the decarbonisation of healthcare. She has also worked in refugee assistance and international development, and has a PhD in the use of technology to reduce global inequality. Her priority is to make Brent a more environmentally resilient borough and to campaign on issues relating to the climate crisis from air pollution to green housing, ensuring that justice and equality are at the heart of the green transition.
