Leeta Holmes was born and raised in Brent and has lived in Kilburn since a young age, giving her deep roots in the local community. She spent over eight years working in the film and television industry, building strong professional skills and experience.
After joining the Labour Party, Leeta began speaking with residents whose stories reflected her own experiences of life in Brent. Those conversations reinforced her belief that the most meaningful way to create change is through local action and direct community engagement. Since then, she has dedicated herself to local politics, focusing on listening to residents and working with others to deliver practical improvements.
Leeta is standing to be a councillor so she can continue that commitment and make a tangible difference for Kilburn and the wider community she calls home.
