Jumbo Chan teaches at a local comprehensive school and has represented Kensal Green Ward since 2015. He is passionate about making Harlesden and Kensal Green cleaner, safer and more beautiful, and has campaigned on numerous issues including securing environmental and safety improvements, as well as supporting the work of many local community groups. Jumbo is dedicated to empowering ordinary working people, and has worked closely with trade unions such as Unite, the RMT and the NEU; leading on their national School Cuts campaign. He is committed to bringing municipal socialism to Brent.
