Diana is Black British, born in Barbados and educated both in Barbados and the United Kingdom. Diana has lived in Brent for over 60 years and is consequently extremely familiar with the borough and the needs of Brent’s communities and cultures. As a member of various affiliated groups within the Labour Party (The Fabians, The Labour Women’s Network and Brent BAME) Diana has accumulated a wide-range of skills and experiences whilst living and working in Brent. Diana has worked across many local boroughs and in a range of organisations, gaining expertise in Social Care, Housing, Domestic Violence and various Legal Skills.
Diana’s passion is for tackling Homelessness, Education Inequalities, Women issues, and Health Education. Diana would be not only an asset, but a part of the voice that the community can relate too; and identify with, on a daily basis.
