Daniel grew up in Preston Road and spent several years working in the local community. He currently works for the Trussell Trust Brent Foodbank and helped establish the Preston Mutual Aid group. Alongside local volunteers, he offered support to vulnerable residents throughout the pandemic that helped unite and bond the whole community.
Daniel has been a councillor for Preston ward since 2018. His number one priority is continued investment in the local environment and youth provision. He is passionate about making Preston a safer, cleaner and greener area. During his time as councillor, he has led community clean up days, challenged housing management companies on Brook Avenue and Hirst Crescent, invested in new school streets, and invested in new pavement and highways repairs to support local schools and businesses. He has supported on residents petitions for more school streets and greater consultation on local traffic schemes. Daniel has successfully campaigned for increased building safety, worked closely with our local Safer Neighbourhood team and challenged the Government to end the practice of Fire and Rehire tactics across the country.
