Public Debate in Queen’s Park – “What to do about Syria?” – 3rd September

Tuesday, 3rd September, 2013 8pm-9.30pm

This public event will look to provide a 101 guide to the situation in Syria – how did the conflict evolve? what is happening on the ground? what should Britain’s response to the crisis be?

Any donations raised on the night will go to ‘Save the Children’s’ Syria response.

Chair – Tulip Siddiq

Tulip Siddiq is the Labour Parliamentary Candidate for Hampstead and Kilburn. She is a Camden Councillor and the Cabinet Member for Culture and Communities.

Panel – Cllr. James Denselow

James Denselow is a Queen’s Park Councillor, a Research Associate at the Foreign Policy Centre and a Director of the New Diplomacy Platform. He has worked and lived extensively in the Middle East including in Syria.
